About this service
OSRS Infernal Cape Boost
Take on one of Old School RuneScape's ultimate PvM challenges. The Inferno is a demanding 69-wave solo encounter, ending with the legendary TzKal-Zuk.
The Infernal Cape is one of OSRS's most prestigious rewards and the best-in-slot cape for melee strength.
The Infernal Cape Challenge
Completing the Inferno requires surviving increasingly difficult enemy waves, mastering Prayer switching, managing resources, and overcoming the final TzKal-Zuk encounter.
The goal is to complete all 69 waves and obtain the Infernal Cape on your character.
Why the Infernal Cape?
- +8 Melee Strength — an excellent upgrade over the Fire Cape.
- +4 Melee Attack bonuses — for Stab, Slash, and Crush.
- +12 Defence bonuses — across all combat styles.
- +2 Prayer bonus — useful for extended PvM encounters.
- Iconic endgame reward — one of OSRS's most recognisable achievements.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the Infernal Cape in OSRS?
The Infernal Cape is an untradeable reward earned by defeating TzKal-Zuk in the Inferno. It is one of the strongest melee capes in Old School RuneScape, offering +8 Strength and excellent defensive bonuses.
How many waves are in the Inferno?
The Inferno consists of 69 increasingly difficult waves. The final encounter is against TzKal-Zuk. Players must survive the challenge to earn the Infernal Cape.
What are the requirements for the Infernal Cape?
You need an active OSRS membership, access to the Inferno, suitable combat stats, equipment, and supplies. You must also sacrifice a Fire Cape to unlock the Inferno for the first time. Recommended equipment varies depending on your account build.
Can Pure and Zerker accounts complete the Inferno?
Yes. The Inferno can be completed on specialised builds, including Pures and Zerkers. However, limited Defence, equipment restrictions, and available supplies can make the challenge significantly harder. Each setup should be reviewed individually.
Is the Jal-nib-rek pet guaranteed?
No. Jal-nib-rek is a rare, chance-based reward associated with completing the Inferno. Obtaining the Infernal Cape does not guarantee the pet.
Can I buy an Infernal Cape directly in OSRS?
No. The Infernal Cape is untradeable and cannot be transferred between characters. It must be obtained by completing the Inferno. Jagex prohibits paying another player to complete the Inferno for your account, and illegitimately obtained capes may be removed.
How long does an Inferno attempt take?
Completion time varies depending on the player's experience, combat stats, equipment, and performance. The Inferno is a demanding challenge, so the exact timeframe cannot be guaranteed in advance.
